I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 15 years experience providing psychotherapy in the New York Area.
My approach is client-centered and collaborative. I work from an integrative and holistic framework drawing from classical psychodynamic and attachment theories, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and humanistic approaches. My experience has taught me that everyone can benefit from psychotherapy but also that no two people are the same and that treatment must be individualized in order to be meaningful.
It is my mission to facilitate healing and to nurture resilience in the clients I work with so that you can live your best possible life.
I received my BA from Hunter College, CUNY and my Master of Social Work from NYU. Before entering private practice I worked for several years in community based mental health and substance abuse clinics as a mental health and substance abuse therapist treating individuals from varied backgrounds and with a broad range of mental health concerns. Additionally I spent three years as a clinical supervisor in an OASAS and OMH licensed clinic providing supervision to therapists from varied treatment disciplines including CASAC, LMHC, LMSW and L-CAT.
